Greyhound Derby Festival 2025

As proud sponsors of the English Greyhound Derby since 2017, Star Sports were looking for a fresh approach that put the drama of the event and athleticism of the greyhounds first. How many people knew that a racing greyhound can hit speeds of 40mph? Whilst we couldn't promote the event as the ultimate 'festival of speed', without infringing upon Goodwood's annual motorsports event, this is exactly what it was.

Another important consideration was the history of the race, stretching back to 1927. There have only ever been four back-to-back winners and De Lahdedah was bidding to make it five.
